The hard part was supposed to end with delivering the baby, right?

Whether you had a vaginal birth or a C-section following labour, the perineal area will be pretty swollen after birth. If you had a vaginal tear or an episiotomy (don't panic!) then you'll likely be feeling pretty ouchy while you heal. Our Bits Therapy Ice Pack is your new best friend. It can be used after birth to provide pain relief, reduce inflammation, reduce tissue damage and promote healing.

During pregnancy some women develop varicose veins due to hormones. Although varicose veins usually affect the legs, they can also appear in your bits – lucky us, right! This can make the area around your vaginal opening and bum feel sore, swollen and itchy. This is commonly known as haemorrhoids. Our Bits Therapy Ice Pack is great during pregnancy, as it reduces swelling and burning sensations and provides cooling relief from itching. To add that little extra relief, use in conjunction with our Cooling Bits Mist.

A hospital bag must-have. Makes a perfect gift for a new mum or a baby shower present. Lovely on its own or bought with one of our awesome pregnancy or post birth Box Bundles

    Helen says:

"I remember being absolutely terrified that I would tear or need an episiotomy during labour. I ended up with some stage 2 tears that needed stitches. Now, I’m the first to admit that I’m the biggest wimp when it comes to pain. What got me by was a homemade cold ice compress – aka a picnic ice block wrapped in a tea towel... not comfy and not exactly hygienic. I'm pleased to report that I healed pretty quickly."
